Waiting for race card
Waiting for race card
Raymond Burse says Kentucky State University may have to close. Really? Close a land-grant university in Kentucky? The governor proposed a 9 percent reduction in state funding. Is that all the funding KSU gets?
What about the research they do on shrimp and pawpaws? How about all the state employees who take classes? Looks like he needs to tighten his belt or go back into retirement.
As for losing enrollment through kicking out students who didn’t pay their tuition, that logic escapes me. If they are not paying, they are not generating revenue. Or, is there some back-door way of claiming other funds anyway?
Maybe I’m mistaken, but I think Burse is about to play the race card. Everything isn’t about race.
