Sanders will hike taxes

Because I am single with no dependents, I pay a huge portion of my income in taxes. When presidential candidate Bernie Sanders talks about universal health care and a free college education, he sounds like a complete lunatic.

The United States is not Europe. Sixty-five percent of our income does not go to pay for somebody else’s medical care or college education, as it does in Denmark. That just isn’t going to work here because that is not the way our government is set up. I am barely making it as it is, and Sanders wants me to pay even more of my paycheck in taxes. That burden is going to fall on the backs of the ever-shrinking middle class. The filthy rich will use their wealth to pay a bunch of people to keep the burden from falling on them, and everybody knows it. I cannot afford Sanders.
