Call 311 for results

If you have a question or concern about a local city service, just call 311.

I called the night before our big snowfall to see if I could get information on what to do about my subdivision’s Friday trash pickup.

The person who took my call could not have been kinder. She told me the rescheduled pickup date without putting me on hold or making me listen to a recording. A live person answered my question immediately.

On Sunday, two days after the snowfall, I called 311 again to see whether a plow truck could clear the snow from my cul-de-sac. Again, the operator answered immediately. There was no recording and no being put on hold. Within one hour of making the phone call, the nicest young man drove up and cleared the snow.

The most amazing part of these phone calls was that I was told how much I was appreciated. The 311 operators have no idea how much I appreciate them.
