Herald-Leader’s two-faced garbage
The editorial claiming that Sen. Mitch McConnell is embarrassing is classic Herald-Leader two-faced garbage.
When George W. Bush was president, Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y, claimed that a sitting president should have his Supreme Court nominations blocked. So you could say that Democrats set the precedent on that front and that Republicans are only doing what has been done by Democrats before.
On the point of selectively following the Constitution, nobody anywhere is worse than the Herald-Leader editorial board at that; this paper is solidly the most embarrassing entity in the state of Kentucky.
