Back to civics, Pett
Someone needs to tell cartoonist Joel Pett how our government works. Apparently, he thinks the president appoints whoever he wants to the Supreme Court.
Wrong. The president has only the right to nominate someone. The Senate decides if the nominee gets the job.
We know that Pett likes to bash Republicans; the least he could do is to get his facts straight. But then again, he’s a Democrat, and facts don’t seem to matter to them.
