Vote Tackett in District 62
Kentucky politics has taken an ugly turn; dark money, once known as bribes, is coming here from a Virginia GOPAC to buy a GOP “must win” special House election March 8.
If Republicans win all four House seats, corporate “profits before people” will take over our state.
Gov. Matt Bevin has no shame, as his Feb. 8 speech before the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce showed. He ignored both the chamber’s ethics rules and its hospitality by praising the Republican candidate.
Bevin wants one thing from his party: a rubber stamp. The millionaire calls others liars but still hasn't submitted his tax returns as he promised if he won.
The Bevin agenda: government overreach defunding health care, education, decent jobs, living wages, clean air and safe drinking water to enrich corporate welfare and tax abatements. Does anything say heart of dark money better than Bevin siding with insurance companies to cheat the poor out of knowing about life insurance death benefits?
I’m voting for Democrat Chuck Tackett to keep the voice of democracy alive.
