Rubio best choice
Never before has Kentucky had the opportunity to shape elections and influence the nation like this Saturday’s inaugural caucus.
With much at stake, let me introduce a person who fights for all; has the passion, drive and leadership to be our next president: Sen. Marco Rubio.
While in the Florida legislature, he based his policy on the people he served. He does that today, too. He is running for you and me, for the future of our country.
He led the House in balancing the budget without raising taxes in a time of collapsing revenues. Beyond conservative budgetary success, Rubio established The Miami Children’s Initiative, a partnership with the community transforming the lives of children and families to provide a system of support, education and care.
The initiative is similar to BOUNCE in Louisville. In education, he made significant reforms to modernize curricula in Florida schools. As a senator, he led the successful effort to stop the taxpayer-funded bailout of health-insurance companies under Obamacare, saving taxpayers $2.5 billion to date. He also led negotiations for a sweeping Veterans Administration reform law.
Rubio is fighting for our American Dream and I humbly ask you to please caucus for him on Saturday.
