Honor Price’s service

I was a client of John Price, the late Fayette County school board chairman. More than that, I was a friend.

Price was a quiet man with a genuine concern for his fellow humans, especially the children of Fayette County whom he faithfully served with honor and distinction. He was humble but firm. I am proud to have known him and seen his strength and commitment. His battle the past two years was a difficult one, but a battle in which he never gave up.

Price believed in life and had faith. He was a true, real profile in courage. His courage made a difference. His life made a difference.

I urge the Fayette County Board of Education to consider naming our new high school after this remarkable servant to our community.
