GOP not homophobes
The comments by Rep. Mary Lou Marzian, D-Louisville, concerning the Republican Party during the LGBT rally Feb. 17 were completely out of line.
She should reach across party lines, open her eyes and see that generalized statements concerning Republicans as being, “just a bunch of homophobes ... they’re all afraid somebody might think they are gay,” is not only incorrect but also bothersome to those of us within the Republican Party who would like to see this change.
All Republicans are certainly not homophobes, and all Republicans are not out to destroy House Bill 155. In fact, many of us support it.
