Just like the bad old days

I had to get my wife to pinch me to make sure I hadn’t been asleep for the last 60 or so years. Our leaders in Frankfort have decided to protect us from those dangerous gay people who live in our state. I was getting tired of them trying to get me to change my way of life with my wife. Now I can go into a restaurant knowing that they won’t attack me and that the owners can now ban them from doing so.

The next step needs to be banning them from voting. They could possibly elect one of their kind. If they want something to eat at a fast-food place or anywhere they serve food they can go to the back door and get their food. Lord knows we don’t need them eating beside us. Black Americans used to try to do this, and we finally gave into them, and look at us now.

We need to remember the saying that if you don’t learn from history, you are bound to repeat it. I wish the Herald-Leader would publish the names of these places that want to take us back in time so I don’t let one cent of my money go to these businesses.
