Add garage, restore park at CentrePointe

Before CentrePointe’s big dig became ill-fated, Lexington had greenspace in the middle of downtown. The site hosted music events and cars shows and presented Lexington to the community and the region as forward thinking as it gave joy and beauty to our citizens.

With the expected demise of a developer’s scheme, Lexington may have the opportunity, again, to give its citizens relief from brick and mortar development.

Put in place a massive underground car park which would benefit all of downtown’s business and entertainment venues, at the the same time top the garage with greenspace that could become Lexington’s downtown glory.

We would all be thankful and joyful.
