Don’t politicize parade

I took my 6-year-old daughter to the St. Patrick’s parade on March 12, and was appalled at the political crap that was inserted. For God’s sake, people, the parade is for kids, not to get yourselves elected. It is disheartening to see politics inserted in our children’s activities. It’s sad enough that we are forced to look at the ridiculous ads and fighting among the candidates on our TVs, but it is a really low blow to include them in an activity that is set up for kids. Shame on you.
