Free to flap and rap
As a Native American, I have been watching, again, the Confederate flag issue popping up in Berea. I still do not have a dog is this fight. However, I do have friends on both sides. With this in mind, I have developed a solution that should appease both sides.
First of all, let’s face the (stereotypical) facts. Every black person I know hates the Confederate flag to the depths of their soul. On the other side of the coin, every white person I know can’t stand rap music. With these two concepts in mind, here is my idea to solve this problem.
Let’s pass a law permanently banning the Confederate flag from all phases of American life. The law would also outlaw rap music in any form, never to be played again. Think about it. Both sides would get what they want, and we should live happily ever after. Too bad something called the First Amendment might not think this was such a great idea.
