Not presidential, but he might fake it

For some unknowable reason, early this month, CNN broadcast more than half an hour of blather from GOP candidate Donald Trump.

His stream-of-consciousness ramblings about Trump steaks, Trump University (now closed due to lawsuits) and Trump Airline came across as diarrhea of the mouth. During the course of these disconnected remarks he opined that “I can be presidential” — responding to criticisms that he obviously isn’t.

No, Trump can’t be presidential. He may be capable of someday acting as though he is, but he has already proved to us that he doesn’t have presidential qualities.
