Study all holy scriptures
I just read that the Kentucky Senate Education Committee passed Senate Bill 278, allowing the Kentucky Department of Education to write regulations to create an elective social studies class to study the Bible.
I think this is a great idea. Since over 60 percent of the world’s population, including 30 percent of Americans, are not Christian but of other faiths, I would also add the study of the Jewish Hebrew Bible, the Islamic Koran, the Hindu Vedas, along with other religions to help us better understand the cultural diversity of this great state.
What? It’s just for Christians?
