Tired of ethnic labels

After 78 years, I finally figured out what I am: a European American Democrat and literal socialist.

What are you? The only people we owe an apology are American Indians. If all the western movies I have watched over the years are true, Indians are the ones we mistreated.

Why do we have to call ourselves African-Americans, European Americans or whatever Americans? Why can’t we just be Americans? Can’t this race thing ever be over with?
