Bevin disaster

Just as the Iraq War was one of the biggest political blunders in U.S. history, if Kentucky’s new governor actually does abolish the most successful health insurance exchange in the country, it will likely lead to a disaster for Kentucky citizens when attempting to sign up for coverage for 2017, and go down as one of the biggest political blunders in Kentucky political history.

Gov. Matt Bevin’s party has already seen the damage his antics have done, with Democrats winning three of four special elections. Shutting down Kynect will all but ensure a continued Democratic majority in the House this fall and a high likelihood the next gubernatorial election will produce a Democratic governor.
