Thank McConnell for Trump

It seems Sen. Mitch McConnell has created a real mess with the Republican Party.

Congratulations on his success. He must take blame for the man who will probably be the nominee of his party. It all started the day President Barack Obama took office, and McConnell’s stated goal was to block everything Obama tried to do to make him a one-term president. When he was re-elected, McConnell continued his goal.

Now the American people are disgusted with Congress and its members’ inability to work together for the good of our country. So voters want someone from the outside. Congratulations, again, to McConnell. His party has Donald Trump. What has happened to the Republican Party? At one time, it was respected, but no more. I am from Kentucky and this whole debacle is an embarrassment. I am 91 and scared for our country. If Trump wins, we will no longer be a great country and McConnell and the Tea Party will be to blame. It is frightening.
