Photo sickening

As I looked at a photo on the front of the March 27 Living section, it was all I could do to keep the bile from coming up in my throat. The photo showed an exhibit of pillows depicting guns modeled after weapons used in recent mass shootings. This is a complete mockery of everyone who died.

What purpose could this ridiculous collection of pillows serve? Not only that, the woman in the photo is smiling. Can we possibly sink any lower in this country with our fascination for guns and murder? I am appalled at the paper for printing that photo. Had this woman had a child or loved one killed in a mass shooting, perhaps she wouldn’t have been so eager to make light of a very morose subject.
