What would Jesus do?
Regarding the recent so-called Religious Freedom bill making its way through the state legislature:
This bill allows people of faith to deny goods and services to people based on their beliefs — targeting LGBT people this time, but wasn’t it people of color last time? I’m sure these so-called good Christians expect the founder of their faith to say something like: “I was hungry, and you said, ‘You’re a sinner. I don’t have to feed you.’ I was homeless, and you said, ‘You’re a sinner. I don’t have to rent to you.’ I was unemployed, and you said, ‘You’re a sinner. I don’t have to hire you.’ Yes, when you’ve rebuked the least of these, my brethren, you’re fine by me.”
