Investigations political
Why is it that Republicans spend our tax money on investigations that so frequently and frustratingly produce nothing?
Apparently, Gov. Matt Bevin could not find anyone already on the state government payroll who is, let us say, sufficiently honest and trustworthy to conduct an almost universal probe of state government. So, according to an April 20 Herald-Leader article, Bevin “ordered Finance and Administration Secretary William Landrum to hire investigators to conduct a wide-ranging inquiry of actions taken by Beshear administration officials.”
Can you say, “Politically motivated, taxpayer-supported fishing expedition?”
