Hypocrisy about flags
Enough is enough. Confederate flags cannot be displayed in any manner or on any merchandise because a few pinhead racists use it. If that is the case, then other symbols used by racists have to be taken down, too.
The cross cannot be displayed or appear on any item. Racist KKK pinheads have used the cross as an emblem of racism for decades. So, the cross has to go — off churches, rosaries, and other items.
What about the American flag? Native Americans can tell you about racism practiced under that banner. So can the Asian people of My Lai. American flags have to join Confederate flags as banned items. (Before you raise Cain about My Lai: I served in Vietnam for two years. I did not murder innocents or babies and am ashamed a few apparently did.) I served the flag proudly, but some people are anti-Asian racists.
If the Confederate flag has to go, so does the American flag.
Accept them all or deny them all. Otherwise, you’re just shallow-brained hypocrites.
