GOP’s race problem

Should Harriet Tubman be on our paper currency? I don’t know, but the discussion against it exemplifies Republican conservatives’ problem with racism.

Please spare me the arguments about the Dixiecrats or how Abraham Lincoln was a Republican. That was then; this is now. The fact of the matter is that racists aren’t tuning in to watch Rachel Maddow on MSNBC; they’re watching Sean Hannity interview George Zimmerman on Fox News.

So stop the dumb arguments about how minorities only support Democrats because they keep them on the “welfare plantation.” That’s insulting to minorities and the reason we’ll be saluting President Hillary Clinton next year. When the front runner of your party gets endorsed by David Duke, it’s time for some major introspection.
