Tempest in a teapot
All this kerfuffle about transgender people using the bathroom and people cross-dressing to gain access to the other gender’s bathroom — really? Is this a serious problem in our world?
News flash: Any guy who wants to dress up in drag to go into a women’s bathroom to watch them eliminate body waste is already doing it. That’s really creepy.
But do people really think men are doing it to watch women expose their private parts? All public bathrooms have stalls around the toilets. It’s my understanding that women don’t use urinals. To eliminate body waste, they go into the stalls.
Anyone, no matter what gender they were or are, peering under the stall door to watch is a creep. There are laws on the books about voyeurism. All this fear about cross-dressing men going into women’s bathrooms to watch them pee is already covered.
This really isn’t an issue about who is in what bathroom. It’s about moving into the 21st century and having a firm grasp on reality.
