Still loves Lex Catholic
I played soccer at Lexington Catholic High School from the eighth grade through four years of high school. My years as part of the Lexington Catholic soccer family were some of the best of my life. I loved the school, the coaches, my classmates and teammates, some of whom I am still lucky to call friends more than 20 years later. I met my wife at Lexington Catholic and if we live in the Lexington area when our children are in high school, we will absolutely send them to Lexington Catholic.
I was never harassed nor threatened, never considered transferring to another school. Lexington Catholic was a safe and nurturing environment for me and I credit the staff, coaches and teachers with helping to mold me into the successful Air Force officer and pilot that I am today.
What I am reading in the news recently is certainly not the Lexington Catholic that I know and love. I expect that once the full story comes out, everyone will see that what the media are portraying is really not the true situation.
