Disillusioned with Barr

Just like candidate Roger Brill, my wife and I are former Congressman Andy Barr supporters. We thought we were electing a true conservative.

But the congressional entitlement bug must have bit him hard. We have disagreed with a number of his RINO votes, but one sticks out for me: the omnibus spending bill Barr voted for about six months ago.

In that bill, the mandatory country of origin labels for beef and pork were dropped. Now we have no idea where our meat is coming from.

Please look at the labels in your clothing. Look at your automobile. I’m in the furniture business, look at the back of any bedroom or dining room; it must be labeled. Barr didn’t think it’s important for you to know where your food comes from.

The NFL has now warned its players to be careful about the meat they eat. It could contain enough anabolic clenbuterol that they could fail a drug test. I can’t imagine losing millions in salary and a career because I took my family out to a steak dinner.

It’s time for a change.
