Tax returns are relevant
Someone needs to remind Donald Trump that his tax returns are most certainly our business. The White House is called “The People’s House.” If he does become president, he is on the government payroll and we are paying his salary. So we need to know what his so-called wealth really is and where it lies. Trump has a truth problem, especially when it comes to matters of money. His antics have been topics of great discussion in Manhattan for decades.
Trump isn’t the only wealthy man who has ever run for president, but he must be the most naive when it comes to what we, his potential employers, are owed. Citizens should remember the old saying: Be careful what you wish for.
