Publish more positive stories

This is to acknowledge and thank the Herald-Leader for the recent article on Tayte and Tyler Patton, twins who graduated from an alternative school for troubled youth to get full-ride scholarships to the University of Kentucky.

Good things such as this do not seem to get the coverage they should in your publication. The paper seems to dwell too much on the dark side, with attention to meth labs, drug busts, pornography, etc. Maybe that’s what sells papers.

In the future, let us see more of the positive, feel-good things.
