Don’t blame Tea Party

Since I consider myself a Tea Party supporter and, therefore, called stupid, ignorant and a fool by columnist Tom Eblen, may I respond?

First, his screed should have been on the editorial page, not the news section.

Second, elitists like him think open borders, a global government and collectivism are the way to go. The rest of us want a sovereign entity with common language and culture, not under the thumb of world government.

I worry about the future of America also, but not for the same reasons Eblen does. I’ll tell you what liberals are really good at: shifting the blame for the mess they have made onto conservatives, patriots and “Tea Party types.”
