Return to Wild West on guns

This Dallas shooting is an outrage. Our forefathers did not have the foresight to believe one weapon would be able to fire off 60 rounds per second (they had flintlocks which generated one bullet per 15-20 seconds).

It is time we reel in the gun-toting Americans to come to their senses.

Or we could arm every American with an assault rifle and make it mandatory that they carry it fully loaded wherever they go. And if you are not packing you will be arrested. If you’re angry enough then you can shoot it out with your adversary, with no repercussions. Life will be cheap then, just like the bullets that tear into one’s flesh.

From what I have been told over my 64 years, America is a Christian nation, but what does the Fifth Commandment dictate?

If I were a police officer, I would never confront anyone, even if they were in a criminal situation. They are not paid enough and more importantly, they dedicate their lives to protect all who are not in uniform.

Guns don’t kill people, people don’t kill people, bullets kill people.
