I’ve heard and read a lot about the problems and worries of the current time, and the divides that afflict our country.
Yet, this is the most peaceful and prosperous time in history, and the degree of integration and fellowship between individuals of different ethnic/cultural backgrounds also is unprecedented.
Yes, plenty of things need be made better, and we could love each other better, not only for the “other’s” sake, but for our own. For all that, we have much to be grateful for, much to be proud of and much to lose if we surrender to fear and tribalism.
