Too many headlines
I learned with many others that when perusing the newspaper, if an article caught my interest to read the first paragraph to learn enough to know if I wanted to read more.
Lately, the Herald-Leader has been publishing major articles with two or three bold-face subtitles. This practice is confusing; these are restated in the article. I find the sub-headings confusing, and my amigo says the same thing.
It appears to us that the Herald-Leader is just using more paper. Have we missed something?
