Voight not acting

On Showtime’s “Ray Donovan,” Jon Voight plays Ray’s father, Mickey, a degenerate, bloviated windbag, and Voight’s interpretation is pure art. The viewer can’t not hate him.

And now we know that Voight is not “method trained.” All he needed to play Mickey was to look at the subject character of his narration assignment at the Republican National Convention.
