Hinckley’s release upsets

I agree with Patti Davis, daughter of the late President Ronald Reagan, regarding the release from a mental institution of her father’s would-be assassin, John Hinckley. She says Hinckley has “methodically worn down the system.”

Hinckley ruined Reagan Press Secretary Jim Brady’s life. After years of fighting valiantly to survive, Brady died in 2014 of wounds inflicted by Hinckley in 1981.

All those affected by Hinckley’s crime should be wary. If the judge who released him would say he has prepared a cozy little apartment next door to his home, then I might relax some. But Hinckley is supposed to live with his mother, who is in her late 80s, and wear an ankle bracelet. Will anyone be monitoring this guy? Iffy.
