Free needles nonsensical

I find it amazing that our government thinks it is a good idea to distribute free needles to addicts. In theory, they are distributed to “stop the spread of diseases.” Talk about not seeing the forest for the trees.

How many people may have died using these needles? These public officials have blood on their hands. Second, who in their right mind would think a heroin addict would use these free needles responsibly? The only thing they worry about is their next fix, not public safety.

Giving free needles to drug users is like giving free drinks at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
