Remember missile crisis

For those too young to remember the Cuban Missile Crisis in October 1962, the world was on the brink of nuclear annihilation. Had the blockade of Cuba failed, the outcome would have been unthinkable.

Nikita Khrushchev was the Russian premier who possessed the nuclear codes. His behavior at the United Nations in October 1960 showed that he was impulsive and hot-headed as he pounded his shoe on the desk. The fear in the United States was palpable.

In the case of an international crisis of this nature, who would you choose? Someone with diplomatic experience and a calm demeanor or a big ego who demonstrates no self-control when frustrated?
