Clinton not presidential
I guess the rule of law applies only to the average person. If the average person breaks a law, he or she has to pay the penalty. Pleading ignorance is not a defense. Intent is not a defense. Try telling a judge that you didn’t mean to speed, your foot just got a little heavy.
Hillary Clinton knew full well that what she did was wrong. Even with the possibility of having national security issues at risk she did it for her expediency. When people get powerful enough to do what pleases them without consideration for what might happen, intent is a moot point.
Others have acted similarly, yet they spent time behind bars. Why is this different? If nothing else perjury was committed, with intent.
The office of president of the United States should have the highest standards and be above reproach but that went out the window almost eight years ago and looks like it will continue in the near future unless we use our voices loud and clear at the ballot box this fall.
