Curb banks’ influence

Thank goodness Democratic candidate Nancy Joe Kemper has read the bills on banking regulation (or deregulation) that Rep. Andy Barr, R-Lexington, has submitted to the U.S. House of Representatives.

Once again, the Congress has been influenced by political contributions rather than by what is good for the people. We need a law that would make it mandatory for members to disclose who has actually written (or drafted) the language contained in a bill.

This would make it clear whose interest they are supporting before more money is taken out of our pockets and transferred to the billionaires.
