Voters must reject Trump

I am deeply concerned about Donald Trump’s candidacy. On many counts, I find him totally unfit for the presidency. I am retired, a former pastor and seminary professor. Throughout my years, unlike many ministers, I have refused to endorse anyone for office. I still do not endorse anyone in this election, but I vehemently oppose Trump.

He encourages bigotry, hatred, violence, torture, vigilante mentality, religious intolerance, racial profiling and xenophobia. He demonstrates willful disrespect for virtually any who disagree with or challenge him: a disabled reporter, women, POWs, a Gold Star family, Muslims, Jews, the Constitution and his own party’s leaders. He voices approval of murderous dictators.

He has demonstrated no positive ethical or moral traits. His only values are self and money. He is a megalomaniac, who feels free to do whatever he wishes, regardless of the consequences. He does not care about our country or its people, except where and how it will promote his personal interests. He seeks to divide and conquer.

He is not as bad as Hitler, but he is in the same vein. He is dangerous. Look beyond the bluster to see the man.

Kentucky, America: Stand up. Speak out. Vote against Trump.
