Maggie Phelps is a summer news intern from Western Kentucky University, supported by the WKU Student Publications Tom Caudill Fellowship and will be covering breaking news for the Herald-Leader. She is a double major studying journalism and public relations, and will be returning as a sophomore in the fall.
