Here’s what every first-round pick in the 2025 NBA draft will make next season

First-round selections in the NBA draft are assigned a “scale” value depending on what pick they’re selected with. The first pick has the highest assigned value, the second pick has the second-highest assigned value, and so on.

Below is the first-year salary scale value for each first-round selection in the 2025 NBA draft (based on the 2025-26 rookie scale chart provided by RealGM). Players can sign for as little as 80% or as much as 120% of the scale value of where they were selected. Rookie contracts last for four years, the last two being team-option years.

First pick: Cooper Flagg (Duke), Dallas Mavericks, $11,521,600.

Second pick: Dylan Harper (Rutgers), San Antonio Spurs, $10,308,600.

Third pick: VJ Edgecombe (Baylor), Philadelphia 76ers, $9,257,400.

Fourth pick: Kon Knueppel (Duke), Charlotte Hornets, $8,346,400.

Fifth pick: Ace Bailey (Rutgers), Utah Jazz, $7,558,200.

Sixth pick: Tre Johnson (Texas), Washington Wizards, $6,864,700.

Seventh pick: Jeremiah Fears (Oklahoma), New Orleans Pelicans, $6,266,700.

Eighth pick: Egor Demin (BYU), Brooklyn Nets, $5,741,000.

Ninth pick: Collin Murray-Boyles (South Carolina), Toronto Raptors, $5,277,100.

10th pick: Khaman Maluach (Duke), Houston Rockets (traded to Phoenix Suns), $5,013,400.

11th pick: Cedric Coward (Washington State), Portland Trail Blazers (traded to Memphis Grizzlies), $4,762,600.

12th pick: Noa Essengue (France), Chicago Bulls, $4,524,600.

13th pick: Derik Queen (Maryland), Atlanta Hawks (traded to New Orleans Pelicans), $4,298,300.

14th pick: Carter Bryant (Arizona), San Antonio Spurs, $4,083,600.

15th pick: Thomas Sorber (Georgetown), Oklahoma City Thunder, $3,879,200.

16th pick: Yang Hansen (China), Memphis Grizzlies (traded to Portland Trail Blazers), $3,685,300.

17th pick: Joan Beringer (France), Minnesota Timberwolves, $3,500,900.

18th pick: Walter Clayton Jr. (Florida), Washington Wizards (traded to Utah Jazz), $3,326,100.

19th pick: Nolan Traoré (France), Brooklyn Nets, $3,176,300.

20th pick: Kasparas Jakučionis (Illinois), Miami Heat, $3,049,000.
