New Lexington indoor football team sets open tryout

The Bluegrass Warhorses will hold their first open tryout Saturday morning at Scott County High School in Georgetown.

The Warhorses — Lexington’s new indoor football team — are scheduled to begin playing early next year in the Continental Indoor Football League. Their first game is scheduled for Feb. 1 in Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park.

Saturday’s tryout will start at 10 a.m. and is open to the public.
