Bears’ Danny Trevathan needs surgery on injured thumb
Chicago Bears Coach John Fox announced Monday that linebacker Danny Trevathan has a thumb injury that will require surgery.
Trevathan, a former University of Kentucky star, was hurt in Monday night’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He was able to finish the game, but he only had four tackles.
Fox said Trevathan’s surgery, which is not expected to be season-ending, will take place Wednesday.
