DeAndre Liggins makes defending champion Cavaliers’ roster

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ final roster spot came down to DeAndre Liggins and Dahntay Jones, and the defending champions elected to keep the former University of Kentucky star.

Liggins, the NBA D-League’s Defensive Player in the Year in 2014 and 2016 — he played overseas in 2015 — is listed as a shooting guard, but he also spent time at point guard for the team during the preseason.
