Which one is Batman? All-Star ex-Cats argue who’s who in dynamic duo.
SLAM Magazine this week released a video to go along with its cover story on the New Orleans Pelicans’ Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins, two former Kentucky players who earned starting spots in next month’s NBA All-Star Game.
The “Who’s Who” segment asked the two to compare themselves to some other iconic duos in pop culture, including Batman and Robin, Pinky and The Brain from the “Animaniacs,” Will Smith and Carlton Banks from “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air,” and Dori and Marlin from “Finding Nemo.”
“I’m Batman,” Cousins said dismissively.
“What?” Davis replied, laughing. “I’m Batman, you’re Alfred.”
They could agree Davis was more like Daffy Duck and Dr. Dre and Cousins was more akin to Bugs Bunny and Snoop Dogg, but Cousins wouldn’t concede that he was Dori.
“She’s dumb as s---!” Cousins said, incredulously.
“I’m talking about being forgetful, bruh. She’s very forgetful,” Davis said.
“Oh, I do forget,” Cousins conceded, “But I remember the important things.”
