Players around the world are waiting for the opportunity to continue their professional careers.
Twenty-nine former University of Kentucky’s men’s basketball players were on NBA rosters when play was stopped this month.
Twenty-five more ex-Cats — plus 11 former UK women’s basketball players — have competed in other professional basketball leagues in 2020, according to records and statistics compiled by Eurobasket.com, AsiaBasket.com and other affiliated sites.

Former UK men’s players
Isaiah Briscoe: 7.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists for Ratiopharm Ulm in Germany. Also, 11.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 83.3% from the free-throw line in EuroCup. He is no longer listed on Ulm’s roster.
Darnell Dodson: 17.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.6 steals and 45.2% from three-point range for Colegio Los Leones de Quilpue in Chile. He is now listed on the roster for Atletico Bigua Montevideo in Uruguay, but he has not played for them.
Kevin Galloway: 15.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.6 blocks for Al Arabi Club Doha in Qatar.
Archie Goodwin: 7.0 points and 5.0 rebounds for Ratiopharm Ulm in Germany.
Josh Harrellson: 19.8 points, 12.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 blocks and 38.4% from three-point range for Osaka Evessa in Japan.
Ramon Harris: 5.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists for Rethymno Cretan Kings in Greece.
Aaron Harrison: 12.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.8 steals and 37.7% from three-point range for Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul in Turkey. Also, 15.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 36.7% from three-point range and 85.5% from the free-throw line in EuroCup.
Andrew Harrison: 15.5 points, 5.1 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA G League.
Dominique Hawkins: 6.1 points, 2.1 assists and 1.6 rebounds for Ehingen Urspring in Germany.
Isaac Humphries: 8.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and 1.5 blocks for the Lakeland Magic in the NBA G League.
Dakari Johnson: 23.7 points, 14.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.6 blocked shots for Qingdao Eagles in China.
Sacha Killeya-Jones: 10.3 points and 4.0 rebounds for BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn in Estonia. Also, 5.8 points and 3.0 rebounds in the VTB United League.
Doron Lamb: 9.9 points, 2.3 assists, 46.7% from three-point range and 84.6% from the free-throw line for Darussafaka Istanbul in Turkey. Also, 9.1 points and 2.1 assists in EuroCup. The team released Lamb on March 22.
Marcus Lee: 10.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.6 blocks and 73.8% from the field for the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the NBA G League.
DeAndre Liggins: 2.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists for Montakit Fuenlabrada in Spain. He is now listed on the roster for Panionios ON Telecoms Athens in Greece, but he has not played for them.
Alex Poythress: 12.9 points and 5.4 rebounds for Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul in Turkey. Also, 13.6 points and 7.1 rebounds in EuroCup.
Marquis Teague: 13.2 points, 4.3 assists and 85.9% from the free-throw line for the Memphis Hustle in the NBA G League.
Reid Travis: 9.8 points and 5.4 rebounds for Medi Bayreuth in Germany. Also, 14.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 69.3% from the field in FIBA Europe Cup.
Tyler Ulis: 6.8 points and 3.8 assists for the Stockton Kings in the NBA G League.
Eloy Vargas: 6.9 points and 4.8 rebounds for Clube de Regatas do Flamengo in Brazil.
Morakinyo Williams: 21.5 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals for Mekong United BC in Thailand.
Derek Willis: 8.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 40.4% from three-point range and 86.4% from the free-throw line for Ratiopharm Ulm in Germany. Also, 10.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 57.1% from three-point range and 90.9% from the free-throw line in EuroCup.
Kyle Wiltjer: 12.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 39.8% for Turk Telekom Ankara in Turkey. Also, 18.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 43.2% from three-point range in Basketball Champions League.
Tai Wynyard: Did not score in one appearance for Cairns Taipans in Australia.
