Darius Miller will be heading back to Germany.

The former Mason County and University of Kentucky star re-signed with Brose Baskets, the professional team he won a league championship with in June.

Miller, Kentucky's Mr. Basketball in 2008, averaged 12.4 points and 3.4 assists per game in the Beko BBL championship series.

His biggest contributions to the team's title run were on defense and from three-point range. He was 13-for-23 (56.5 percent) in the league finals and 33-for-64 overall (51.6 percent).

The team's title run helped it earn a spot in the Euroleague, which starts in mid-October.

Miller, who also won a Sweet Sixteen title in high school and NCAA championship in college, most recently played for the Dallas Mavericks this month in the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League. He played in three games and averaged 4.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 16.3 minutes.

He scored six points, going 2-for-2 point range, and had two assists and two rebounds against his former team, the New Orleans Pelicans, on July 11.

Miller averaged 3.1 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 102 games for New Orleans from 2012 to 2014.
