Former Kentucky standout Travis Ford will be the next men’s basketball coach at St. Louis University, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported on its website Tuesday night.

Ford and Oklahoma State parted ways a couple weeks ago after he coached the program to a 155-111 record and five NCAA Tournament appearances in eight seasons.

St. Louis fired coach Jim Crews after the Atlantic 10 Tournament, a league with which Ford is familiar. He coached three seasons at UMass from 2005-2008, compiling a 31-17 conference mark.

St. Louis made the NCAA Tournament as recently as 2014. But the Billikens have gone 11-21 each of the past two seasons, with a combined 8-28 record in the A-10.
