UK men’s soccer faces Louisville in ‘Abe Out’
Kentucky men’s soccer team will welcome Louisville to The Bell on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., and by popular demand, the bout between rivals has been designated an “Abe Out.”
Tuesday’s match will pit two undefeated teams against one another as the 2-0-1 Wildcats face 2-0-1 Louisville — winner of two-straight, including over No. 14 Connecticut last week. It will also feature a lot of Abraham Lincoln-themed promotions, including penny admissions for those sporting Wildcat blue. The “Abe Out” is built on the premise that the Wildcats were Lincoln’s team, considering the 16th President of the United States was born in Kentucky.
No. 17 Kentucky is 10-8-4 versus Louisville all time, but the Cardinals have won two in a row in the series.
