The college baseball game between 12th-ranked Kentucky and No. 10 Louisville scheduled for Tuesday night at Jim Patterson Stadium has been postponed in light of Monday’s mass shooting in Louisville.

The teams mutually agreed Monday afternoon to call off Tuesday night’s non-conference game, which they said will be rescheduled for a later date.

Kentucky (27-5) and Louisville (24-7) are scheduled to play each other at least one additional time this season, that being April 25 at Kentucky Proud Park in Lexington.

Five people were killed and nine more hospitalized after a shooter opened fire at Old National Bank near Louisville Slugger Field on Monday morning, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.

An additional shooting in Louisville on Monday, separate from the shooting at Old National Bank, left one man dead and another person injured, according to reports.
